I have faffed about this morning so far - so I am now having a coffee before I start work on the latest tree I am researching.

Not sure that I like having my mind read … a variety of tree emojis appeared when I typed that word.

On the other hand, I wish it would do my work for me when I type housework. ;-)

The NHS have excelled themselves :-0. I received a letter this morning asking me to confirm an appointment, within 5 days, for 2099, really :-0 :-0. I know there are long waiting lists:-0..... with the best will in the world I can't see myself being around to attend that appointment :-0 :-0 :-D :-D

Sun was out earlier but now decided to play hide and seek. Still chilly willy though :-(

Well eventful morning. The battery in my watch needed changing, so went to my usual jeweller. The lady said she did not want to change it for me as my watch has a very flat glass and they have had problems with them. :-0

Went to another jewellers and yes, she could change the battery. Hurrah!

Handed over the watch and watched her take the back off and change the battery and push back on. Handed the watch back.

So when I turned it over she had cracked the glass. When I pointed this out she swore blind it had been like that already. I am afraid I raised my andvoice told her in no uncertain terms it indeed had not been in that condition before she pushed the back on.

The Manager was called and even she suggested I had handed it over in such a condition. Several octives higher from me, she said she would replace the glass. So I await their call, and I am not paying for it either. Blooming sauce!

It seems the original jeweller was right, but what did I know?

Was in a big Sainsbury's earlier today with daughter.

They were selling Pancake Day pyjamas and T shirts.
