Yes. My mother died in 2004. Her ashes were buried in my Grandparents grave. I'm ashamed to say that there was nothing to say she was there:-( So I've bought a granite vase with her details on to put on the grave :-)

That's nice, Jem <3

When my cousins went to the Island where my Mum was born they found that there was only a marker for our grandparents grave so they had a proper granite headstone made and erected <3

That's nice Belle <3
I think, because we are amateur genealogists, and so probably think about these things more often than most, these things become important to us

Things like that Jem you can't always get. Some garden centres sell them but you could be driving miles to find what you are looking for <3

JemimaFawr Report 2 Feb 2026 19:31

That's what I realised Fly. I did think of getting one done with the stonemason. But after the quote for J's headstone, I thought I'd look elsewhere

JemimaFawr Report 2 Feb 2026 19:36

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 2 Feb 2026 19:38

I got my reminder about my Driving Licence needing renewing. It says on the Form have you had your eyes tested recently :-0 That is so vague they should say have you had you eyes tested in the last year or two years :-0

I mean how long is recently :-0

Fly Report 2 Feb 2026 19:39

JemimaFawr

JemimaFawr Report 2 Feb 2026 19:40

They are making us have eye tests to renew now. I have cataracts starting, so I doubt I'll be able to drive for much longer.
