That sounds bleak :-|

It was wild in the night and the coast road was closed today near Folkestone as it was covered with shingle thrown up from the beach and cars which had been 'rearranged' by the wind.

I had considered attending a funeral today, but would have to catch 2 buses, - if they arrive, so will watch online instead.

Upto my eyeballs in snow here, very very cold.
A section of my pipework ( pressure pump) was obviously starting to freeze today but running the cold water bath & sink taps got the water running fully.

The said section is outside but inside a wee shed, it's lagged & covered with old fleece throws but it still causes a problem.

I think we got off fairly lightly here, compared to the North. :-0

Buses are on restricted service this morning due to lack of drivers. Waited half hour for the bus to arrive. The app does always appear accurate.

Really cold rain and wind, but nothing like the Channel Islands.

Hi girls.
It has been really bad, not seen it as bad for some time.
My daughter who lives along the road (within a nearby farm) ordered heating oil on weds, for me & for herself, she got hers but they didn't come to me !

They really didn't have the usual winter problem re my house road being full of snow because it has been plughed twice & 2 people came along in their cars more then once without difficulty.

I'm not out of oil but I would have liked to be sure if things were to get any worse I would have plenty to keep me going !
