It’s bleddy freezing, I have not been out for a few days but I had three birthday cards to post so had no choice. I was surprised how clear the roads were as it has been dire underfoot and there is still snow on my drive and lawn.

Fly, have you shinned up and checked on your roof. :-0 :-D

We’ve had few flakes of the white stuff but Alexa assures me it won’t last long ;-) ;-)

The temperature is a barmy 1degree. It was -6 last night but the heat did come on. :-D

No more snow here at the moment but I would not be surprised if I woke up to a white-out tomorrow which would be s*ds law, as I have a meeting in the afternoon. :-S

I walked to school this morning.
A dusting of frost on rooftops and grass verges made me a bit wary of falling, if it was slippery, so I took my time. It was fine.
I was wearing that many layers though, if that had happened, I would probably have bounced :-0 :-D

Hope Fly's roof is all sorted and cosy,soon.

None of the white stuff here yet, but with rain forecast tonight, I really hope the temperature improves or the roads will be lethal in the morning :-0 :-|

I sent off 2 birthday cards today too.
One is going to Europe and one to Wales. They might arrive too early, but I was all layered up to go out today, so they got posted while I was out and about.

We have had a bit of a thaw today but there is still snow and ice on the roads and pavements. If it freezes again tonight - which I think it will - then it will be treacherous in the morning.

I decided not to go out to meet friends for coffee this afternoon as none of us wanted to risk slipping :-(
