Apparently Errol musing about peas is upsetting some. (Or are they just rising to the bait? ;-))

patchem

patchem Report 6 Mar 2014 23:21

If you all think Errol is playing games that you do not want to join in, why do you not leave him alone and let him get on with it?

That way, his thread would disappear down the boards.

Like Joy, I do not know what is going on, but it does not come across as very nice to anyone who is new to the boards.

It looks like he is being bullied.

If that is not your intention, then why are you doing it?

If he wants to 'play' and you do not, do not read any of his threads. That is within your power to do.

That action puts you in control.

Silly bickering does not.

Could the person who rr'd me please inform me what I have done - under what category have they requested the review?

I wrote a very polite message.
I asked people to ignore the post - if they know they do not like the poster then do not read it.
I wondered if they had considered how this would appear to people who are new to the forum.
I said that to me it looked like they were bullying the OP.
I observed that this looked like petty quarrels.

And as anyone on here should be aware, when the OP has been rr'd more people are attracted to read the post so the drama is played out to a larger audience.

Patchem

Agree with your post, and do not see why it was rr'd. All this is doing is encouraging even more threads re the subject. If people want to fight in the street then they must put up with an audience. But i suspect that they are secretly enjoying all the attention this is causing.!!

Suggest they sort out their problems in private, and leave it off the boards.,

I had a terrible time last night and got no sleep due to an inability to get comfortable because of all the knives protruding from my back.
Oh well.
Now, back to all matters green of the legume variety.
