Thanks to all who have popped in.

I understand completely where you are coming from OneFootInTheGrave.

Every Christmas day at 12 noon, i raise a toast to all my family past and present.

I try my best to make a little speech to mention all those that have passed and for those who are still living, but are no longer in my life for one reason or another.

My tummy is always in knots all morning ........and then i end up a sobbing wreck.

But once i get through it..........i feel a certain happiness wash over me and i can then enjoy the rest of my day.

I have friends staying at the Bentley, Manhatten for Christmas.

I tried to ring them earlier and then i sent a txt.

No reply as yet..........you are not under 100 ft of snow over there are you??

OH and I got out of Dodge on Sunday.

We're down in Virginia (Chincoteague). It's chilly but no snow. < :-)
