I was pleased to find recently that Granddads (who as you know can fix everything for little ones) don't lose their touch and/or usefulness as the little ones become big ones. One arrived recently with his laptop that had drunk a cup of hot tea, left it with Granddad while he visited other relatives for a few days and collected it all mended on his way back home. Reported on facebook that Granddad was 'amazing'. Aaw!!

So pleased you enjoyed each other. Not seeing them all the time makes the times you are together extra special. <3

The time just flew, Mersey! Am so glad we have such a fun, loving relationship and that they love to visit me. Roll on next time! :-D

Awwww BC it doesnt seem that long since they were arriving, the time has just flew by, I have the most treasured memories of staying with my Nan and Grandad <3 <3

*big sigh....well they left very early this morning and I am sitting in a sea of sheets, pillows, towels, half eaten apples, em pty bags, , and various rubbish that children love to leave around, just to make sure you will miss them! :-D

We all had the most wonderful few days. They went ice skating in Hyde Park, for the first time ever, and their mummy was taken away in a wheelchair as she fell and hit her head. She was fine but it was high drama!

Then on Saturday, I took them with me to go carol singing with our Singing Group (They went willingly, I hasten to add) and they were a great hit. I tried to also rope in a pregnant friend of mine as I thought it would add to the picture (!) but she couldn't make it.

They went on loads of buses, walked all down Oxford Street, got new boots, went to Winter Wonderland, were roped into an art exhibition by their Daddy, and in general, were a total joy to be with. I shall miss them, but lovely memories were once more made.
