Bon Appetit Joan.

I bought a slow cooker a couple of weeks ago but i haven't used it yet.

I have never felt the need before because i work from home and if i want to cook anything slowly, i can.

But, tasting meals (Meat especially) that has been cooked in a slow cooker is just beautiful.........so i succumed and bought one.

I love a beef stew in my slow cooker. Throw it all in and leave it, potatoes too as they don't go to mush.
I cook hams too then slice on my electric thingy. Thats a money saver too.

I think my daughter in law lives in hers lol :-D :-D

We are at Grandson's girlfriend is at work. He lives here on his own (girlfriend is a student, he is in gap year, house is his parents). We have brought the makings of a roast chicken meal with us. I am cooking it!

We have just been to the local garden centre and I had brie, walnut and red grape sandwiches with rocket salad. OH had a festive sandwich. Turkey and stuffing and cranberry. :-)

Just finished roast lamb, roast spuds and parsnips, carrot and spinach with gravy and, of course, mint sauce. Should have had Yorkshire puds but I forgot them till we were half way through eating. Finished with an orange creamy thingy.
