Thanks everybody for the birthday wishes.

Unfortunately the fiasco of the last couple of days with the hoist left both of us a bit drained. Fred didn't go out anywhere but the carers made a bit of a fuss of him and a lady came to visit him.

I made his birthday cake and it is still in the food processor bowl because OH is much better at preparing cake tins than I am so it will have to be baked tomorrow, well today now.

As a special treat I have left him some washing up for the morning and I will get a bit of washing together for him.
