Is it pernod that, if you get drunk on it, as you recover even drinking water can make you drunk again? Or is that another drink?

Let me educate you! ;-)

Forget the blackcurrant, lemonade or anything else! Drink it with 4 or 5 parts water to one of Pernod, and plenty of ice with it - the French way. Then you are much less likely to get a hangover!
