Oh dear (or should that be, Deer :-D)

I have a terrible confession to make! :-(

The pork casserole was nice although the meat could have probably done with a few more minutes in the oven. OH took some back with her and I'll finish it off today.

The soup has been made and will be eaten on Friday when OH returns once more

I'm sorry that I have turned out to be such a disappointment!

:-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Allan ~ are you still with us, or have you fainted from lack of food?

Surely you could throw a nice piece of roadkill on the bbq?

Just for the record, as my wife will be home for part of today I am in the process of making some pea and ham soup, and have defrosted a shoulder of pork which I will casserole in cider.

Now if I only knew where the matches are so that I can light the oven.

I may leave it until OH gets home, and ask her :-D

Sylvia my OH will often ask where something is and so often my answer is.........'wherever you put it when you last used it'.

OH does 95% of the cooking in this house

He does the weekly grocery and meat shop

The kitchen has been arranged more for his use than mine

He knows where everything is that he uses regularly ........................

but I often hear the call "where is such-and-such?"

That being something he hasn't used for 3 or 6 months .................. and I haven't used for even longer.

I sometimes think his memory is going

or is he just being helpless??? :-D

Tenerife Sun Report 17 Sep 2013 18:15

Reminds me of friends of ours, they live in England but have a holiday home here in Tenerife. Brian came over on his own and came to us for dinner. He asked to use the phone to ring his wife as he needed her help with the mobile phone they keep here. OH said we put it on charge for you it's all ready to go. Brian said but I don't know how to switch it on. Anyway he rang his wife and we heard him say 'Elsie where do you keep the toast?'

Its amazing how silly and uninteligent us men can be, :-Dnot knowing how to cook, use the dishwasher, washing machine, vacume cleaner etc,and as to Ironing well its a complete mystery, never know where things are kept,i/e cutlery, plates and other things :-D or are we Far to clever for the females to realise :-D we decided we don,t want to know, as they are far to good doing all these things for us. while we feign ignorance of these highly technical things :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D ;-)
