Spent about three days in Wales.

For no reason (at least to me) a strange man yelled at us in the street.

"BLOODY ENGLISH"

We both yelled back at him 'WE'RE NOT BLOODY ENGLISH, WE'RE BLOODY AUSTRALIAN"

He gawked at us, went red and walked away.

Eejit

:-D

Yes, we had a nice time.

Barry we had the contract to do the Co-op's advertising and applied to use Carole King's "You've Got A Friend" for the television adverts - we were turned down

Lady Scozz - on behalf of the Welsh may I apologise sincerely for what was said to you when you were in Wales - those types are thankfully in the minority - they think because they can speak the language they are better than the rest of us - they should consider themselves very lucky they were given the opportunity to learn the language and were probably brought up in a Welsh speaking family/area

I wish I could speak the language but brought up in an English speaking family in an English speaking area of Wales and I absolutely loathe those Welsh speakers who think they are a cut above - cos they ain't - they are ignorant

Sorry Errol....my brain thinks one thing but fingers type something else.....maybe I can put it down to old age or being ill or something else :-D

No...Mum used to bring the odd cassette home from work...one being Carole King Tapestry

I preferred David Cassidy at that time though

Carole King and Gerry Goffin were married and wrote some good songs

Errolsheep - the buggers make you pay to get into Wales, but let you out for free....

And all this talk of Pink and elephants

Did none of you ever see the Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre. Some plonker on Southwark Council thought it would look good painted pink. Take my word for it , it didn't..... :-D :-D
