So many beaches, so little time.
Childhood memories of the Solent beaches, Lee-on-Solent, Hill Head, Southsea, mostly pebbles but we lived near and loved visiting.

Memories of when the children were young and Cornish beaches, Gorran Haven, Gerrans, Portscatho, Constantine, Pentewan and little beaches/coves that I can't remember the name where we were taken by our friends who lived there.

Honeymoon and the Jersey beaches.

Holidays and Clearwater Bay and Honeymoon Island in Florida

I just love beaches. :-)

I've spent many a happy hour in Llanbedr :-) Shell Island I went to once when Dan was little and we collected cowrie shells, unfortunately time there was limited by having to catch trains.

La Gooner, one thing I remember about Burnham on Sea beach was my mum getting stuck in the mud up the end of it lol, her very nice pink suede shoes were ruined, she washed them when we got home but as they dried they turned up at the toes like those 'arabian slippers' you see in 'Aladdin' :-)

The Vic at Llanbedr holds a lot of memories for me.
We used to go up to Cwm Bychan and the Nantcol and Roman Steps there and end up at the Vic and sit by the river with a nice cool drink on a summer evening...perfect!

Knew Shell Island well and the Workman family who owned it.
Lovely memories.
The West Coast of Wales has gorgeous beaches and lots of lovely sand dunes.

Oh Rambling Rose, you lucky thing. One of the best sunsets I ever saw was there. Off down that way again in late Summer.

Tresaith is north of Cardigan, John, and south of New Quay in Ceredigion. About half an hour or so from Fishguard.
