Tresaith (somewhere near Fishguard?) brought back wonderful memories - thanks Gwynne. There are loads of very pretty little coves - usually with ghostly remains of some industry - along that stretch of the coastal path.

Another surprise for me was Bettyhill - which is right in the middle of the coast of North Scotland. Fabulous little oasis of beauty :-) :-)

Post war, in my very young youth,the beach at the Tower of London holds many pleasant memories for me.

Barmouth beach for me ..agree with brenda from Wales..

Spent many hours at the end of prom to watching the sun go down .. we was on a site 2 miles out of Barmouth towards Harlech... that place holds a special place in my heart..it was our second home..

Go walking there....... and we know most of the people we see....... on a busy day we might see 20 people.

Definitely not crowded!

Sometimes we see the local mermaid ~

Errol i love shell island to ..its so beautiful there ..had some lovely meals at the victoria to ..only wish i could climb those dunes now lol..

The Victoria is the pub at the top of road..

Yes you walk past the side along the river and then upwards - fantastic scenery.

Tresaith is north of Cardigan, John, and south of New Quay in Ceredigion. About half an hour or so from Fishguard.

Oh Rambling Rose, you lucky thing. One of the best sunsets I ever saw was there. Off down that way again in late Summer.
