Just one sight of a spider in the house and I become very afraid. Terrified springs to mind and I have a reputation for fainting if they come close to me.
I fainted when I was 6 years old and a house spider ran across my foot!!

BUT I do like snakes, never mind holding them......no logic to it

:-\ :-\ :-) :-)

I love spiders..especially barbequed; nice and crunchy outside with a soft centre..and everyone gets a leg :-)

The spiders in Oz are so big the police use them as road-blocks :-D

To paraphrase Orwell, two legs bad eight legs good :-D :-D

Anyone remember the movie "Arachnaphobia"??

The spiders that they used in that came from Avondale in Auckland, New Zealand. And they really are THAT big and fast - I know as I used to live there and they had me cowering in the corner terrified as they move sooooooooooooo quickly ......

Downunder the only good spider is a flat one !! :)

lol Barbara

We often get Huntsmen spiders in the house and garden, and you can actually see them growing on a daily basis! :-0

I often wonder what people who are afraid of spiders - in the UK - think these spiders are going to do to them? drag them off and savage them? :-S

The ones that appeared in my house in Somerset wore boots and hard hats .... honestly they were so big that I could literally hear them walking across the lino flooring in the kitchen ..... needless to say the cup of tea was not made until they had long gone ! :o

Spider has been removed to the garden.
It looked 'orb like' and therefore a biter

:-0
If it's a 'furiner' it will (hopefully) die
