Afternoon Everybody

We watched it last night up until 8.30, before turning over for George Gently.
A young girl was on singing (with large fuzzy hair), and boy oh boy, for us, she was the best act yet. Leona Lewis said that the show needed a diva, and that she was the one.
For us, no truer word has ever been spoken.
Made a difference to the lunatic young man that was the first act on.

Anyway. next Saturday 6.30 Strickly is back on the BBC, so move over X Factor. Already buffing up me sequins, and limbering up the muscles.LOLOL

I don't watch much tv, definitely NOT talent shows.

But I sometimes get onto YouTube & look at X-Factor (Aussie, UK & USA). I quickly click off the awful ones. I don't enjoy watching people that make me cringe. But have found a few acts that I enjoy.

Did you see the young man in the too small suit ~ Jarmain Douglas? I think I spelled his first name wrong. He sang "At Last" ~ what a voice!

He's had it with me now, I dont like the sob story business and I am not dening he had good vocals, it was all the poor.com.me crap I cant be doing with, sooooo staged and personally I wouldnt of put him through if he was that nervious what will he like on the live shows which by the way he will be on for the film crew to been and filmed him at home sat at his Nans feet ** yawn** its a sad sorry state of affairs when you have to depend on tugging the publics heart strings rather than just use his talent to get votes...his card is well and truely marked with me ** wags finger** :-|

In the newspaper (if you can call it that ) today it is reported that Chris Maloney ,the guy with a good voice and a bad attack of nerves was previously a singer on a Cruise ship in 2000.

If it's to believed then he was a good actor as well as a good singer. ;-)

Take the X Factor as it is ,light entertainment for most viewers or switch off if you don't like it.

Lol Hayley

He's not the first and won't be the last,

Probably a better actor than a singer, seeing the replay. ;-)

Other than that I love it ... :-D

Merlin

Merlin Report 24 Sep 2012 13:32

They should put a "Health Warning " on before they broadcast this trashy show :-S and the adverts should only tell you where to purchase a decent bottle of Brandy to console yourselves with during it. :-S :-D

This programme is now becoming an embarrasment for me to watch. There is not one decent singer in this year's line-up.
In today's papers, the makers/producers of the programme are wanting Simon Cowell to come back to Britain, to take it over. No wonder with 3 million less viewers than this time last year.
Wait till Strickly comes back on for real, and there will be another couple of viewers here less, watching it.
