Saw an interesting tip in a magazine the other day. It was a recipe for a soup, which contained meat & the suggestion was that if you wanted a vegitarian option.......omit the meat. :-D :-D

Uzzi, I was joking when I made that comment - you will have to put up with some greens though ;-) :-D

I don´t think anybody who eats anything needs to explain their eating habit. I have been out with friends who are vegies and therefore we choose a place where all of us eat happily. But I have seen people say they are vegetarian and then have a bacon sarnie !
Wend hun I do hate the colour green but red and such is good.

I love my trimmings :-D :-D

Indeed Rose! I once asked for the veg "without the meat" I was happy to pay, 'just don't put it on my plate' I was firmly told 'no'' I couldn't have that because then there wouldn't be enough veg for somebody who wanted the meat meal! and no, they would not give the meat that I would pay for to someone else. So some meat eater missed out on a double helping

Merlin

Merlin Report 9 Sep 2012 13:50

Had it the other day. Tonight I,m having Fillet steak with all the trimmings. :-D :-D :-D

At least one can eat 'out' these days...for many years the 'vegetarian option' was to scrape the meat on to someone else's plate ;-)

Sounds lovely Merlin :-D :-D Dinner at yours then? ;-) :-D

We're spoilt for choice between yours and Sharrons :-D

I resisted quorn for ages as I used pulses a lot. I like quorn but I shall be using more pulses once I remember what I used to make :-D
