Felt sad to hear about Winnie Johnson,
the torment she must have gone through.
Free now from all the suffering and pain.

Reunited now with her beloved son Keith.
:-( :-(

I hope this poor woman is at peace now and reunited with her son. She has suffered for so long and then to have to fight cancer too, well life is more than unfair and cruel to some folks, isn't it?

I hope if Brady was intending to come clean and at peace with himself, he is now suffering more because of this but somehow I doubt it. As one detective(ex?) said yesterday on the news, the moors have shifted about over the years, only big rock formations have stayed stable so it is probable that poor little Keith's remains will never be found, even with guidance, but they are only his earthly remains and his soul or whatever made him Keith will be in a better place and now with his Mum and other family and friends.

I send my deepest sympathy to the rest of Mrs Johnson's family who still have this hanging over them and now have to prepare their beloved mother's funeral.

I hope she is reunited with Keith and is at peace with him.

I can only hope that Ian dies in pain and that Keiths remains are found and buried with his Mum. Cruel thoughts for Ian I know but I think he really should suffer as he has made others suffer.

I hope the programe due to be aired on Monday about that bag of evil will be cancelled as a mark of respect for the torture this woman and her family have suffered over half a life time.

Nothing can be said to make things any better now i,m afraid, damage as been done!!

What i will say is this! the wrong person suffered for this horrible crime, and she did not do it.!

But a lot can be said to prevent it happening again, stop this cushy sentence,s for a start, make it so uncomfortable in prison, to deter from doing crimes again.
boy ! it makes me so angry!! how that poor woman must have suffered.
people in the know must start doing something now, before this sort of thing happens again.
sorry had to get that off my chest.

At the time of passing it all went dark
But then came along a really bright spark
All around there was a blinding illumination
Not even a second for a thought of eternal damnation
Her boy probably came and said mom come hold my hand
Then he escorted her across to the lords Promised Land
He told her I was happy to wait for you many a long year
But now I rejoice in the fact you’ve come and are now here
Together again and never to part for the rest of all time
You did what you could because you are a mom you’re mine
Whether you believe in an almighty or whether you do not
For this loving mom and son, all the heartache is now forgot

Poor lady.

As a mum too .as lots of us are, its not possible to know her anguish. She wanted, as all of us would, to bury her child and know where he finally was,

I am sure lots of us would now the panic when we thought one of the children were missing so her anguish and loss must have been overwhelming. I look at our daughter and grandchildren and GRT grandchildren and thank GOD. Poor lady never knew the joy that her sons children would have given.

May she rest in peace and have been reunited with her son Keith

Is this the end of a sad episode in UK family history or must we await the earthly demise of the culprit?

The desire to know & understand Mr Brady's thoughts has been the life-long work of a handful of qualified individuals empowered to work alongside him. Sadly, little progress was made after such an unimaginable length of time during which this respectable mother was forced to live the terrible unknown truth about her beloved child. No human being should be expected to endure such misery.

May mother & child rest in peace, if not in body, then spiritually together. RIP.”

On the phone in programme on Radio Wales, one expert said that Brady needed to stay in control. He needed bargaining tools to get what he wanted, which was a highly publicised death. He wanted to be famous for being evil and wanted to have his own way. The woman had met Brady and he was not a man you could reason with or trust on anything. And no remorse or sympathy for his victims or their families to this day.

Well, now that Winnie has died, he cannot hold Keith's burial place up as a negotiation counter any more. He has had it. His hand has now been played. He is a wasted and evil little man. An absolute nonentity. And he deserves no publicity any more - alive or dead.

It would be lovely to see a huge show of affection for Winnie and her family at her funeral. I think it will happen. We have all felt for her for so many years.

And I think that is what the supposed letter is about, it does not exist and he just wants the attention and as you say John he should not get any at all ever.

RIP Winnie

Was the letter of her son´s burial place just another wind up from Brady to torment her at the end of her life. It´s a shame nobody put a bullet in Brady´s brain years ago as he has now tormented this woman for her whole life. Brady shouldn´t be alive.

Apparently, Winnie had no idea at all about this supposed letter, and all the publicity surrounding it. She was well out of it when the news broke, and Brady was wasting his time even if he had pinpointed spot in letter.

What a lovely thread this has been. Many thanks for giving us a chance to leave our thoughts, Rose :-)
