Have the member since date and number of posts disappeared?

I was just going to post the same query, they have not dissapeared, but they only show if you put the cursor on the avatar section

I thought it was me, but it drives you crackers, when it goes from one to the other.

Hope this is just a fault.

What it does do, though whether it was intentional or not I don't know , is to cut down the amount of blank space below the post, which may help somewhat with the amount of glare??

Darker grey header, profile on post compressed. We have applied some minor adjustments today. These include, making the grey panel header slightly darker, and applying a border at the bottom to highlight the change. Also on the boards, we have compressed the profile details. When you hover over the image, the details will appear and you can click on the send message button. The reason for this change is to compress the post section on the thread view, and reduce the unnecessary white space. You should refresh your cache to ensure all the changes to effect.

It may stop people being intimidated by the number of posts some of us have.

It may also help to stop people who are not familiar with the boards from sending a PM? when they are trying to reply to a thread

only downside is that the "send message" logo is no longer viisible to new users and they are usually the ones who dig up old postings and need to send a message

ps, its a bit confusing if people use their researching panel for lots of names as the thread post sits almost directly on top.

That's a good one Porky Pie. Although good place for sending messages rather confusing if the reply button was at the bottom of the page.

My joining date was incorrect anyway. I wish they would just make the print for the headings a little larger.

It does look smart all the same.

I hovered at 13.26 on Readers book (Doodles) thread :-D

Couldn't find the 'send message' when I hovered. Then I realised I was hovering over my own avatar. Must be the heat.

Caught me out as well.

Shame the annoucement was not flagged as NEW as that is the only time I look at the Annoucement Board
