Well, we believed the weather forecast and abandoned our plans to go to town on the bus, having got soaked yesterday just getting from car to indoors. Would you believe it has been sunny and warm much of the morning. Still some black clouds around but no rain. Hope it has been dry for Fairford.

All good things must come to an end, and 2days
good weather in my neck of the woods is great.
Now, today it has never stopped raining since OH
took dog out for his first walk of the day. :-(

If you don't like the weather, wait a while ~ it will change.

This morning lovely blue sky.

This afternoon it's been pouring! It started just after I went outside to bring in washing. So everything (including me) got soaked.

I hope OH enjoyed golf in the rain.

Mainly cloudy now, with just enough blue to make a pair of pyjamas for a cat.

Tomorrow? Who knows!

Today we have blue sky & OH has gone to play golf.

Golf is now a water sport :-D

Good for you Emma. We're in South Glos and the morning started off not too badly.
Put washing out and 1/2hour later down it came. First time I can remember using drier in July

Intended to catch up in the garden too but............

Saw the flood warnings this morning, hope everyone stays safe
,
Barbara . :-( :-( :-(

Getting quite cloudy out in between sunny spells but
still dry.
Good to get washing out for a change and to take it in dry.

Still steady rain here, but judging by the radar the next heavy rain is not long in arriving.

Just heard that the local show was cancelled which has never happened before to my knowledge and must be a disaster for the organisers. Let sheep into shelter this morning and they appear happier but still soggy

very warm here - just had a few spots of rain - nothing more - yet!!!!

David has gone to Yorkshire Ann - to do some family history on his tree - do hope he took a wetsuit ;-)

K It is still raining but not as hard just gentle and persistent. There is a big brass band open air meeting at Hignham House, if you know it tomorrow (20 brass bands) had thought about going but I don't think so now, it will be really soggy underfoot even if it doesn't rain.

Well seeing it is more like winter I'am going to make some mince pies and think of Christmas.
The weather was better then than now.

Ann - I live on the borders of Worcestershire and Herefordshire and it was the A44 that was shut by the landslide a few years ago.

I thought Gloucestershire had missed out, but it seems to be spreading south and looks terrible over with you at the moment. I had the week off this week to partly catch up with the garden. Sadly talk locally of cancelling the local big show/gala this weekend as cars will just sink into the field.
