Like Haley if tin is opened without cutting finger, just slice, Branston pickle, mash, beetroot, I am from London. Remember when there was a scare never ate for a decade. When visiting friends in Stoke- on-Trent they always made a meat and potato pie. |

I've had the same argument many times with my friend from Leigh - I'm a scouser (also from Bootle originally Sheila!) and make it like Libby and my frien d make the stew version. |

Must admit my kids have ketchup on most things tooCarol.Nearly forgot about the bread you have to have with scouse´too tho cant decide between red cabbage or beetroot on the side as like both. My husband used to love scouse toasties the next day, |

Done the same way as the rest of you ,as the mood takes me ,but NOT using tinned corned beef ,enough fat in it to cause a heart attack,i cook my own beef ,and use the left overs for the hash ,looooverely :-D Fred. |

Only one way to have it, with crispy bacon and brown sauce, lovely. I use the same as AinG as it doesn't go sloppy. |
