I think it's just ignorance and laziness on the part of the parents, it's not impossible to potty train a 2 year old. Both mine were potty trained day and night by 2 1/2 yrs, and never been a problem since. They both had their own children potty trained by around the same age. |

I agree Teresa all mine was done by 2 1/2 aprt from the baby at night she was getting on for 3 but that was my fault trying to keep her a baby. |

I went to the dentist yesterday and I joked with him that am due me gold clock as I have been with him for 22 years he has seen my children grow up, when my eldest joined the army and had his checked they even said to him, your mother has clearly looked after your teeth. My children have lovely nashers sadly I dont. But I do look after them. |

Does it happen often that you have a child that isn't toilet trained etc Mildred...or is it mainly the special needs children where they need the extra help ???? |

That's awful....and the article written by the teacher does stress that the homes are *not* all from a deprived council estate. Play groups, nurseries or other community organised pre-school groups are available to most, if not all children, regardless of income. |
