I agree with Suemaid no point in thinking what could of happen luckily it didnt, and I suspect you'll learn from your experience today...I dont fully understand what you did???

Speeding ? Answering your phone? drove up a 1 way street the wrong way? Parked in the Mayors parking space ? Did wheelies outside a primary school?

No point in thinking about what could have happened Ann - because it didn't. It's not the worse driving offence and a lot of us have suffered from a loss of concentration at some time. Try not to let it upset you too much.

If you get caught speeding once in 36 years you are not doing too bad.

I get done once every thirty years. First time in 1978 and again in 2008.

First time I was a van driver and was caught racing at 85, second time I had mellowed a bit and was caught doing 33.

Ann, its a horrible thing to happen but could happen to any of us who drive.

Going over what "might of happened" will just make you feel worse in the long run.

I did something today that was really terrible and stupid. It was driving related and I am now going to get three points on my licence and a probable ?60 fine. I have been driving for 36 years with a clean licence so far.I consider myself a careful driver and never go over the speed limit. It was a split second loss of concentraction and I feel so bad about it.(Nobody was hurt by the way)

I feel so bad and just keep thinking what 'might' have happened.
Sorry but just had to get it of my chest so to speak.
I am not looking for sympathy, just thought it might make me feel a bit better writing it down.
