I still have the fountain pen I was given when I passed the scholarship in 1951 but I don't use it now. Haven't checked if it still works, a small parker.

I have and use a bread knife, have somewhere fish knives and forks but don't use them. In fact have a full canteen of cutlery that was my Aunt's with 6 of each bone handled and silver:- fish knives and forks, dinner knives and forks, dessert spoons and forks, tea knives. Then serving spoons (2), sauce ladles (2) carving kniofe and fork and steel and crystal stand to lay them on, oh and sugar tongs.

I do use a colander, in fact I have three and often more than one is in use. Hve cheese knife and butter knife and they come out on occasion.

No one has mentioned a spurtle! I have one and it is used regularly. Do you know what it is - don't cheat and google!

Kay?? - as to fish knives for the posh people. When son was about 5 or 6 yrs he discovered in a drawer my mother's wedding present of fish knives and forks - after that even if he had fish fingers he insisted on having a fish knife and fork. A few years ago I gave him the box!

Yes have 1 doz pastry forks - have to describe them always to OH as the little forks! Many of the things mentioned I have them and are still in use. See darning wool mentioned - what about a mushroom - have two, one with handle one without.

Still have my scholarship fountain pen - assume it works and in desk drawer is a boxed bottle of permanent blue Quink Ink. A steel which is in use regularly also.
