Julia Report 3 Jan 2012 14:51

Come on everybody. Can we please all hold hands tonight and have a group "Pray-In" for Mummo, that the dear lord can change the weather tomorrow, because she does not like to drive in the wind.LOLOL She has to drive from Chester to Portsmouth.
Also my sister, that has to drive from Portsmouth to Humberside. Mind you, the way her husband drives, she won't know the difference.
So, just to get us in the mood, lets have three Hallelujahs.
Hallelujah, Hallelujah. Hallelujah

Praise Be

Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah! I hate driving, full-stop - let alone when it's windy!

Now, Julia, what about that avatar? ;-)

Julia Report 3 Jan 2012 14:59

I'm sorry Mummo, that you think it is in bad taste. I can honestly say, it was not meant to be rude. I was just trying to jazz up the boards on a day when everybody is suffering with the wind.
I am only too well aware that people do not like adverse weather conditions, my-self included.

You know Wend. Those side-less tents that posh people have.

I bet you've got one :-D

I agree with Julia, Mummo -- I'm sure she didn't mean it in a nasty way at all. As for me, I sympathise with you entirely - wouldn't want to do it myself. Good luck, hope the weather is better for you tomorrow :-)

Just edited as it didn't read correctly.

Snooping on your google mobile, Island? What you on about now - you're being rather abstruse to-day, dear. Or perhaps I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer :-S

Mummo, please, it was said very much tongue in cheek, and not to be taken seriously at all.
Just to cheer you up, let me tell you a funny little story, which is perfectly true.
Some years ago, the sister's OH, ( and she is driving from Portsmouth to Hull tomorrow), was driving to the crematorium to conduct the service for our Gran (Our Nellie) . He was pulled up by two policemen, who asked him why he was speeding, and he explained he was on the way to the crem. They did not believe him and issued a speeding fine of £25, as it was in those days.
He was dressed in his full best C of E outfit, and they still didn't believe him.
Of course, the family still laugh at this, to this day.

I will be thinking of you tomorrow.
