Had a bit of drama in my house today.

Decided to dye my hair .... you know the one, covers the grey and I am sooooo worth it.

Not worth anything now ...... the grey is now orange and the shops are closed :-..
Now wearing a hat and dark glasses but no longer care because I have had a couple of glasses of wine :-D

Dermot

Dermot Report 31 Dec 2011 21:48

Having grey hair isn't the worst thing - ask any bald man! Me for example.

I love my grey roots - they just remind me that I am now a mature woman at last, after all these years. Who'd have thought it, eh? :-( :-( :-(

Dermot, my youngest son is 29 and almost bald, he shaves his head on a number one ..... his words " at least I am not grey".

Say no more :-D.

At least he is not orange.

Hope no neighbours call after midnight ..... will have to dig out a paper bag ;-).

Can't dig out a plastic one because we have to pay for them in Wales :-0

Agree if you are in your 30's 40's can look good. But 60's 70's a no no, before I retired 3 yrs ago I died my hair red then purple, back to blond with highlights, won't go out gracefully.

Carol :-D

I have stopped dyeing since the last lot which turned the grey ginger, it has half grown out so the top is dark and then it goes ginger/brown/grey streaky like a mangy tabby cat or an extra from 'Cats'.

ButtercupFields Report 31 Dec 2011 22:16

Every year I debate whether to let my hair go back to it's natural white and every year somebody persuades me otherwise! the only thing is it would be such a hassle growing it out...*shudders...
