Mac and I keep in touch spasmodically and this is the message I received yesterday. Can we think lots of positive thoughts for him and hope this bug can be vanquished again. He really has suffered with this for too long and it's ruined his quality of life.

He wanted me in tonight but I said I'll go tomorrow morning

It's that bl**dy Superbug they gave me 7 years ago, Pseudomonas, returned again and NOTHING will work except intravenous drips or take the Lung out. but I dont think I would survive that

Reading in thepaper yesterday that there are quite a few of these superbugs that they can't cure these days which is very worrying.

My best wishes to Mac and I hope they can find something to stamp it out.

Thanks for keeping us up to date Liz, Hope they can sort Mac out this time, makes one wonder if Hospitals are the best place for us when we're ill,go in with one thing have it cured but come out with something worse. Elaine. :-S

I do hope Mac recovers soon - it is a nasty bug and knocks the stuffing out of out completely - I know only too well, that is why I was in hospital for 2 weeks in August. Mac will be on drips and antibiotics injected direct into veins twice daily.

My very best wishes to him and kindest thoughts..
