I think he still had in his mind what happened yesterday, when I was kept waiting on the phone for over an hour to Deb**hams on a premium number, trying to find out where the La Sen*a knickers which I ordered 2 weeks ago for my d-i-l had got to. I was not a happy bunny, let me tell you. 2 hours later they arrived :-D

Island, it was like that when I came out of T***o at lunch time. Didn't know whether to swim across the car park for me taxi. Could hardly keep me brolly-up and push a trolly. Proper little Mary Poppins I felt.
