Sounds a bit overpriced but no doubt the glitter is the main reason. I do think that there are some lovely sounding Christmas puds out there. I'd love to try them but I don't like Christmas pud which is very sad. I'm sure that I saw one with clementines and port in today. It sounded so yummy and I bet it smells wonderful. I will stick to my home made apple and cinnamon cake which is lovely hot or cold, with or without custard.

Hayley...You will be so proud of me......I have gone three solid days and nights without a drop passing my lips. I am totally detoxicated, dessicated, and ready for a right good boozup in Ireland.... :-D

BC that is really interesting! I remember when I was young my mum used to fry pudding, and I never asked why, if it's an Irish thing maybe she learned to do it from my grandfather's side of the family.

No, Miss Smarty, but I have had an encounter last night. It is a bit sad but I will tell you if you have a spare moment? Anyway, I was walking my dog along that big long street where the buses go?

And this woman came towards me........she could have been twenty or she could have been forty. You know one of those faces. Well, she said to me
