OH's grandfather was the only boy of 12 sisters.
Their names were
Ann, Bertha, Mary, then Clarice Maud, Edith, Gertrude Matilda, Rosaline Electra, Leonora Cecilia, Blanche Etheline, Beatrice Alice, Mabel, Irene.

Can you imagine calling them all in for tea?

No Ann ..........although that is a good one too ;-) ... the clip is of Bradley Walsh on "The Chase" quiz. (clue is the name Fanny) .......he's such a giggler and can't keep his face straight.

The strangest name in my tree is Valdeis Pipe?

I recently came across a Fanny Freke, not in my tree thank goodness.

Ann I loved your thread, many a time my daughter and I would have a good laugh reading it. I did wonder what had happened to it. Honestly, some people have no sense of humour ;-)
