Please note. Our Stan Clarke is NOT the man who died.
(See Marions Woops Thread).

My sympathy still goes out to the family of the man who died in such sad circumstances.

Thanks for letting us know about Stan's sad death, Marion. I have sent an email to J. to tell her, but haven't heard back from her yet.

Yesterday, as well as your message I also had a reply from a previous contact, from a young man who is Stan's nephew.
A very mixed day emotionally.

I was one of the people who was trying to help Stan, as there is a family connection (via marriage).

A very sad day. Liek you, I hadn'yt met him, but he certainly seemed to be a lovely man.

Thank you all so much for your messages.
I feel a bit of a fraud because although Stan was my cousin, I never knew him.
I put the notice on the board as I knew he had been participating until very recently & didn´t want people wondering why he hadn´t responded.
I´m sure his family will be very touched by all the messages.
