I think alot has to do with finances at times,,,,,,but would be nice that those traveling a fair way could be offered a sleepover by a nearer venue,,,,,,,,,as not all have own transport.

I will be kipping at the Boro............and in Chest'hire and more places to come.......... :-D :-D :-D

I, and I suspect some others, have suffered financial constraints over the last 18 months too.

A trip to the Midlands for instance would cost us between £250 - £300 for the 2 days as we have to stay away for 2 nights plus fuel, meals etc., That is a considerable cost for a 'meet'.

I'll have to sharpen my grovelling skills and find a vict..err member who lives near a meet to stay with :-D :-D

There is a meet organised for Abergavenny next week I think.

Also this time of year was when our lovely Daff would organise or encourage others to organise a meet. Life is not the same without our Daff on the boards chivvying us.

*sighs* Yer Anne we had a great time last year at the South Wales meet, it was nice to get a way for the weekend but as you as say financaly wouldnt be able to afford more than once ot twice :-0

*consults diary.....well I am free for Visitations and Small Meets from the middle of August so all welcome :-D
