Had an email (3.30pm) this afternoon from Jean to say she was waiting for an ambulance to take to hospital.
The nurse that calls re her toe was very concerned. She may have to have it amputated, but not sure, so won't be on the boards for a while!!
She's obviously hoping antibiotics will do the trick, but she's had quite a alot already.
l've spoken to Jean since the email and the ambulance might arrive until 6.30pm...!!!!!

I hope the antibiotics work and you don't have to have an op, but better that you being in pain.

Evening all:o)

Spoke to Jeans OH this evening, he said the ambulance did'nt arrive until 9.30pm (instead of between 3.30 and 6.pm), so by the time Jean got to bed it was approx 1.30am!!!!! l don't think Jean was impressed!!

They are going to do a scan and something else, l think its an angiogram, she's on new antibiotics.

l'll phone him again Friday, and update you then.
