No probs ,hun , I thought the bus was due but I must have just missed it , by mins...or literally seconds like I did on the way down .lol.

Next time we have a meet ,who ever is coming I can give them my Pay as you go mobile No. as I always have it with me , there's only a few £'s left on it , but I keep it charged. I now have a contract phone which I always use , but whilst the other one is working it's handy to keep it, when the money runs out , or probably when the battery dies.....it is for the recycling bin or pass it on to someone who wants it... It's not that old or unfashionable looking, just doesn't have all these gadgets that the up to date one's have.
Some peeps on Benefits , that swing the lead ,and have been on for yrs have better phones than I ever had ! See my comments on the Welsh thread .Grrrrr

Sorry but we didn't take any photos, was only myself , Jude and family as you would have gathered from earlier posts.
Don't know if Daff has seen the photo's of the first Abergavenny meet on 8th April , Jude and I both have some if she hasn't. Jean and Ann G are on those along with myself, Jude and her lovely family.
I can send you mine of those if she hasn't :) Of course Jude would too...:)

l have'nt asked if Ladylol still has my mobile, l would think its the old one if she has, must check on the one l tried too.

Sallie & Sandie....Yes we did have a nice meal at The Lamb & Flag, well we opted for sandwiches, very nice:o)

Vic was flat out just now too, he's just mowed sisters lawn and chopped some wood, tis hot though so will let him off...lol

We'll have to have another meet cause l want to get Auntie Jean out:o))

Another hot day here :-)

I'm fine Jude thanks for asking just a bit achy, after standing.
I must have just missed the bus coming back home, the stop didn't have any seating so I had to stand and wait about 25 mins . I' m OK walking or sitting but standing makes my back ache. :-(

Did you find the Lamb and Flag afterwards ?
I forgot to say my cousins dau is in charge of the catering there, tho I've only ever been there for events where we've had a buffet.
Shame that Ladylol didn't have your mobile No.

I got home in plenty of time to do tea, hubby was flat out on the settee, he'd been gardening and was resting his 'poorly' knee... He always has probs with it.
After a 'dose' Emmerdale and Corrie and a dose of Ibuprofen, tabs and gel rub I went for a lie down.
Kept walking up last night so didn't get up until later than norm, been out for a short walk , may go out after lunch for another.

It was lovely too see you all again, shame it all didn't go to plan.

Its my fault really, what with the Auberge being closed, and all getting hungry, it was hot, l suggested we wait til 1pm.....but actually left at 12.50 whilst Vic got the car and met us up the road so he could park and get on the 2 way system......so sorry again Ladylol:o(((((((

Sandie and Ladylol were meeting us, unfortunately Ladylol arrived abit later after we had gone:o(( and got a wee bit lost....sorry we did'nt wait any longer:o((
Don't know why the pub was shut, very strange!! They don't have a phone number to contact (Auberge that is) and on the sign it says open from 11.30 am also the lady in shop next door said he's usually got the table and chairs out between 12 and 12.30!!

Yes we did enjoy ourselves, Sandie is lovely, we've met before at the same place. My sis and Vic also came.

Hi all....well we are back hoe,ll hope Sandie is also??

We got to the Auberge to find it closed:o(( waited until 12.50, no sigh of it openig nor of Ladylol....so we went on to another pub hoping to eat!!....dohhh no food served on Mondays:o((...so off't we went to another pub and yes we found food, very nice it was too...thanks Vic:o) x

Oh sorry Sue l did'nt see this last night, went to bed about 10pm and turned the pc off early...most unusual for me!! slept well too:o))

Yes of course we'll take photos, not many of us will be there mind but all goodens:o))

Perhaps we can get the nice manager in one too (if he's there)...he was so nice:o))
