Just returned from a supposedly four day break in Suffolk. We stayed at the travelodge in Stowmarket and were given the disabled room. What a shock whoever designed it obviously doesn't know a thing about being disabled. The loo was far too high, felt about 30 inches and the bath was very small and slippery. If I had been in my wheelchair I would not have been able to use the loo at all so how they expect a disabled child to use it I don't know. We left a day early in the end as there is also a new truck repair warehouse right in front of lodge. |

How disappointing for you with your Stowmarket visit. You should contact the people who lobby for disabled facilities and tell them of your concerns and they would probably check it out. Shouldn't be advertised as for disabled people, if it isn't so and is unsafe. |
