Today in Press I think it is Travelodge who is advertising autumn sale of £10 per room.

Hope some one is successful, cos the area we wanted didn't have the offers in Sept for the dates we wanted. :-0

Still, at £40 pn for 2 nights, its a price we are happy with!

Just returned from a supposedly four day break in Suffolk. We stayed at the travelodge in Stowmarket and were given the disabled room. What a shock whoever designed it obviously doesn't know a thing about being disabled. The loo was far too high, felt about 30 inches and the bath was very small and slippery. If I had been in my wheelchair I would not have been able to use the loo at all so how they expect a disabled child to use it I don't know. We left a day early in the end as there is also a new truck repair warehouse right in front of lodge.
On a lighter note I was looking for somewhere to stay for two nights when my son marries. couldn't believe I booked the Hilton for less than travelodge.

How disappointing for you with your Stowmarket visit. You should contact the people who lobby for disabled facilities and tell them of your concerns and they would probably check it out. Shouldn't be advertised as for disabled people, if it isn't so and is unsafe.

Hope the Hilton will live up to expectations.
