Has anyone out there ever manged to book a room for the fantastic price of £29

Because I have just booked them again and never seem to manage

Infact we are going four four nights and the fouth night is over £70

Please let me know would be interesting to see how many people manage it :-0

Hi Carol, i have never stayed at the Premier Inn..............but i have booked in at the Travelodge. many a time..............i have never paid more than £29 per night ever.
I don't understand why they are asking you to pay £70!!

Daughter recently stayed at a Premier Inn at those prices.

I think it depends on location and which days you require, then you might get a good deal.

Travelodge were for ever sending cheap offers to my OH, but nothing was ever available at those prices when he tried to book.

Four nights 1st and 2nd night 49.80 3rd night 60.95 and forth night 72.80 total 233.35 as opposed to their £116 for 4 nights

Does that include breakfast?

Premier Inn Chester I stayed for £39 per night last time ( April) but only two nights at that price. You don't often get a run of more than two nights together there...though there is in August oddly enough. maybe depends on location though.

Stayed at the Gatwick Premier Inn last August. We went for a wedding on the Saturday and then flew home from Gatwick on the Sunday. We paid £55.00 plus breakfast. We also used the free bus to the airport.

Every time we see the Lenny Henry advert for Premier Inns we wonder where and when exactly can you book the £29.00 room.

A suggestion. Why don't you telephone them and ask your question. If it has been advertised the offer must be available somewhere. If you show you are interested you might get a better offer than what you have at present.

Another thought. Have you tried booking on line. I know in Oz if you book on line the prices can be a good deal cheaper.

We've stayed at a couple of Travel Lodges at cheap rates, booking via the internet.

We were looking for one for this month and the prices do seem to vary according to the season/demand. The price before the school summer holidays (for where we wanted to go) was about half the cost for the end of July. Think we'll wait until September!

Booking about 3 months in advance, I have stayed at Travelodges in London (Kings Cross and Liverpool Street) for £9 and £19. Breakfast -eat as much as you like- is £6.50.

Register with Travelodge and they will Email you with special deals.

Prices are based on supply and demand, which in turn is affected by location as well. The cheapest rates are often only available if you book weeks ahead

Actually that is not always true P Pal. If the hotel is one normally used by business customers who return home at weekends you can sometimes get a cheap weekend deal for 2/3 nights inclusive.

We use Travelodge, they email when they release a cheap offer. We are usually looking for specific dates and locations, for instance central Edinburgh during the festival is over £100 for a Mon night, but I got a cheaper price for the Sun night. OH used to book near Stonehenge, the nearest never had cheap prices, but he got in elsewhere for £9 or £19 for 3 or 4 nights, and shared with 3 other men, so a good cheap weekend for an event!

Don't forget, the Travelodge charge is PER ROOM not per person.

stray and i stayed in the park hotel in peterborough
£70 with breakfast and it was very nice

well worth the money

We managed to get train travel from Portsmouth to London £2.00. two nights stay in London at Travellodge £18.00 and £4.00 coach journey from London to Portsmouth all for a total £24.00 for two people. BUT you have to book early to get these deals.

We have been lucky everytime we go tO Bolton we have managed to get either £9.00 or £18 rooms but again you have to book early.

Standards at the various Lodges and Inns can vary. Alot depends on staff attitude and leadership, I guess. A recent stay at a Travel Lodge and finding dried out food and crispy scrambled egg for breakfast has put us off for a while.
The second morning we walked to the nearby Premier Inn and had an excellent breakfast there. Children 15 and under eat free.

WORST NIGHT EVER THE MATTRESS HAD SPRINGS MADE OF BRICKS,I DID COMPLAIN.
TRYED SETEE AND FELL OFF
IN THE END SLEPT ON THE FLOOR
THERE WAS NO OTHER ROOMS

MIND YOU AS I COULDNT SLEEP AT 2 AM MADE IT TO FRONT DOOR I NEEDED A CIGGIE AND GOT THE NIGHT STAFF TO WAIT OUTSIDE WITH ME :-D
