Tracey - a tip! before you go too far. ;-)

Go back to "My account" in the upper right and pick yourself a boardname.

There are Traceys galore posting on the Ancestors board ... and Julies and Sylvias and Lindas ... and sometimes it's confusing, and at some point you will likely get confused with somebody else.

My own recommendation is that while you're there you pick the option *not* to display your full real name when someone clicks on your boardname, or when they send/receive private messages to/from you. It's just a matter of security and privacy on the internet that many of us prefer to maintain.

If you pick a unique nickname for yourself, nobody will ever wonder which Tracey they're talking to!

Then you can, if you like, go back to the posts you have already put on the board (just click "My threads" on the left to find them anytime) and change the name on them. Just click "Edit" in the post in question and then click "Submit" and that will change the name on the post.

Hello Tracey, welcome to this site. I have been asking questions for some time now regarding my tree and everyone is really helpful. I have never really introduced myself on here so : I am Phyll, live in Sussex, am 64 years young and have 2 daughters and 6 grandchildren. Hubby and I are retired so enjoy gardening (well he does), ancestry, making up our dolls house and going out for day trips.
