I am hoping no news is good news, I think if there had been anything significant to add Joyce would have texted me to add to this thread.

Will try and talk with her again soon, when I spoke with her yesterday morning she said it had been so hard as she had no one except her hubby to discuss it with so she was glad to talk with me. Of course as she and Caz said, when she phoned Caz she was in such a state she couldn't explain properly or say much for sobbing.

I am sure once Danni has had a blood transfusion and some rest etc she will get well so she can be at home with her little boy and her partner. He must be so worried and having to care for baby alone will be hard for him. He has been spending the days with Danni but apparently was not allowed to stay overnight. As he has no car he has to get lifts or use a bus to get to and from the hospital poor lad. I wonder if baby is still at the hospital now, didn't think to ask Joyce.

Such a shame this happened when it should have been such a happy time for them all.

Good news! Just spoken to Joyce, Danni is better today but feeling very tired. Joyce has managed to speak to Danni herself this morning, so she feels a lot better by speaking to her.

She appreciates all the thoughts for her, Danni and her partner from all her friends on here.

I'm so pleased to here that all is going well for her now.

Good news Sallie, thanks for that. I know Joyce will feel better for talking with Danni herself but I bet there were lots of tears too - Joyce is so exhausted herself with her health problems causing her to lose sleep so will be tired and emotional too.

I hope Danni will do as she is told and not push herself too hard when she finally gets home as she needs to get properly well. However as Joyce said the other day, she is stubborn like me (Joyce) so imagine her poor partner will have a time of it with her lol

I hope things go much better for this little family now.

Spoken to Joyce, her granddaughter Danni, is still having to stay in hospital, until the doctors are happy with the results of her blood test results.
Danni had put her mind on going home today so has got herself into a bit of a state. She's still very tired and she's crying quite a bit of the time.

I'm sure that once she gets home and she's with James and their baby son she will feel better.

Sallie thanks for the update, I haven't spoken to Joyce since yesterday, I will be ringing her tomorrow. I am so pleased that Danni is getting better although she has to stay in hospital, it's the best place for her. Joyce should start to relax a bit now, she has been so worried about Danni as well as her own health problems, I wish she could get some sleep but she can't because of cramp all night long.
Poor Joyce I'm thinking about you if you are looking in and will speak tomorrow.

Caz, just heard from Joyce, letting us all know that Danni has just arrived home, her blood count is still very low, so the hospital have given her a course of iron tablets. I think the doctors probably thought that as she was getting herself in a state she would perhaps be better off at home.

Just seen this. I'm so sorry to hear what danni has been through. I hope that now she is home she can bond with her new son. Knowing Joyce she will have been getting herself into a state not knowing what has been happening. Best wishes to all xx
