Still procastianting! But at least the ironing is up to date - after 2 weeks of putting it off!

AnninGos - have you though about a plastic mat to put under your wheelie chair? If you have a large office equipment store near you, they may have one. Father had one from Rym*ns, but the sort of thing he bought is here

http://www.ukofficedirect.co.uk/chair-mats-cat_3777.aspx

(it kept his carpet free of spilt food and other things as well!!)

Because you don't have any distractions DizzyL.

Kandj Yes it feels good and I went through another cupboard this morning because our broadband was down for a couple of hours. So, another charity bag full. This carpet is a hard wearing one so not soft and fluffy underfoot. it needs to be hard wearing because it is my craft/computer room and my chair is on wheels which wears the carpet after a while.

How good do you feel with your clutter clearing?
New carpets smell fresh and feel just georgous to walk on barefooted, if I can remember that far back.
It is quite a while since we had them. We desperately need a new bedroom carpet but just the thought of moving things out are enough to put me off.

To get my dad doing I cut the oranges in half and he juices them in the food processor,Then I change the blades and he slices them in the food processor.

I have to do the boiling up but he dissolves the sugar before I do the final boil. Then I sterilize the jars and he pots it in the sink.

What with him having one working hand and being in a wheelchair the mess is unbelievable.Keeps him off the streets for a bit though.

Well done D L.

Now all my jobs in here have caught up with me as we found a carpet that will suit this morning, an offcut in a sale. OH wants to fit it on Saturday so this room has to be cleared. I have spent all afternoon so far shredding!!!! and I now have 7 surplus two ring binders because I have condensed my FH stuff into 4 larger lever arch files. Heavy but keeps it all together.

Morning all, DizzieLizzie your marmalade sounds delish.
Well guess what happened to me this morning, I opened
wardrobe and yes you've got it boots, shoes etc fell out,
so OH said enough was enough and he pulled the whole
lot out so I had no choice but to get the job done. One good
thing the charity shops will benefit.

Well for procrastinating can anyone beat this. Took the sheets off this morning and washed them. Just about to go to bed and realised we have not put the clean bedding on. Must have passed the bedroom door umpteen times today but not, for some reason, gone in.

Jean (Monmouth)

Jean (Monmouth) Report 24 Jan 2011 19:42

I have tospend at least an hour on the bed daily, and I could see no other way to get the basket by my chair which takes all amgazines and mail sorted, so I took it to bed with me and finished up with a load of advertising and catalogues for the recycle bag.
