I have just seen this Joyce and was coming on to tell her husband to .... REFUSE to take her home again. that was a disgusting way to treat a patient... whatever she/he is in for.
Hope all went well.

I'm thinking of Val Joyce and praying they will do the operation tomorrow for her, I don't understand why they get her in then send her home with no explanation. John must be fed up now, he should take some action if they do it again tomorrow.

Suzanne shes been told theres risk as she had op for bowl cancer and had abag fitted, but the hernia is pushing the bag out the hernia is the size of 7mths pergrant women, its from thr groin and up under her breast nearly one docter said they were going to move the bag to the other side and then another one said no its ok were it is,but this has been going on for 18mths,and shes told them i would rather go with the risk than be like this for the rest of my live, she needs both hands to lift it so she can walk which now its all most impossable, she looks so tired and ill i hope they do it on thursday or if they cant operate why not tell her instead of fobbing her off all the time, will keep you up todate how it goes on thursday

This is a disgrace after all Val has to cope with besides the hernia. How can sheb be expected to keep positive and ready for the op when they keep messing her around, is beyond me.

I can't believe there can be any good reasons why this op wasn't done ages before now, instead of all these delays

Wish her luck Joyce, hope you are ok,
it's a nightmare here lol

dont worry dutch,a hernia is quite a common problem, nothing serious about them,my dad and brother have had hernias and they have lived to tell the tale.xxx

I cant believe they have done this again to Val. what excuses did they give this time I wonder. This needs to be taken further, its like torture to poor Val.
Keep your chin up Val

Thinking of Val this morning and hoping the operation goes ahead. Don't know what the hospital is doing but it needs to get itself sorted, the poor woman can't go on like this much longer. I agree with Liz something needs to be done.
