Hi Jude, a sad day for you all but how lovely to hear such tributes to a lovely person, I hope he realised how much he was loved and respected while he was alive.
A lesson to us all to tell people what they mean to us or how we admire/respect them when we can.

Li was cremated this morning.....an amazing tribute was paid by his two stepsons, his sister read a poem and his stepsons partner read another.
His work colleagues said his skills in the engineering field were amazing, he was one of 3 top engineers in the uk and parts of Europe!!!
He was a member of menza (sp) and no one knew!!! but no one is surprised:o)))
His sister travelled from Anglesey, others left their homes at 5am to be here.
Respected, admired and loved by so many people.
He often said "l wonder what people would say when l die"....well he would have been so proud of all that has been said today....an amazing man:o))

Heard this morning that it was Arterial thrombosis.

A number of things have happened just before and since his death....one is his mother gave him some vital information at the weekend about his father, he'd been waiting years for this and now can't use it!!!
The other is l had to ring a sister of mine whom l had'nt spoken to for about 2 yrs, at the end of the conversation she said " he'll be laughing now because he got us talking"...how true!!

You just never know do you??
