Any suggestions where 'somewhere obvious' might be please?

O.H. has put our passports there, after our day-trip to France in December.
I'd like to find them to be able to put them in the place they are usually kept ( for the last 15 years or so )

Suggestions ?

Joy

It did occur to me that I'm going to have to check some really not obvious places, just incase they got scooped up with the Christmas items.
Good chance to tidy the loft space, I suppose.

Why couldn't he put them straight away.........?

Sounds like 'in a safe place so I'll know where to find them'.

That's usually bad news LOL

Thats fatal
We always put things in a *safe and obvious * place........................................
then spend days looking for them, some never found for years
lol

Sorry McAnne...you crept in there..

He has supposedly checked car, hand luggage and pockets of his coat., but it was a 'man's look' so maybe I should check those places again.

I swear he doesn't find things unless they jump up and go "Boo" to him !

Still haven't found my tape measure.

I often find something long after I've given up looking for it. I come across it by chance when I'm looking for the next thing I've lost.

Great ideas and comments, ... Thanks.

We had hoped to take grandson on a daytrip during half term.
His is the only passport here. His mum ( our daughter) asked us to keep it with ours as she knows I could normally find them with my eyes shut.

Lost are mine, OH's and our younger daughters, as she was with us on our last trip.

Gwyn, you do realise it's your fault for trusting one of us to take care of of it don't you?

You must re-search where hubby says he has looked
I have found loads of things by ignoring hubby saying *its not there,Ive looked *
lol

Does he have a bedside cupboard/drawer Gwyn? Or his underwear drawer. A drawer where you keep stationery, or a jewellery box.

Other than that start at the front door and work through the house!! Good luck

I think you can safely say Gwyn, it will be in one of the places hubby says he's already looked and 'it's not there' ...........

Like you say if it's not shouting and waving at them, men never see anything - they don't move stuff, just do a surface glance - my dad is always doing that and me or mum will find it where he's looked *rolls eyes*

I once lost a watch, for nearly three years.
found it in HER bedside cabinet.
can only think that when I was working away when I got home early in the morning, I'd slid in Her side of the bed( cos it was warm there,)
and might've put the watch in the cupboard myself......

Stray,I think you are right there
My hubby is always looking for his things in the wrong place
I am sure men have short term memory loss when it comes to remembering just where they put things *for safety*
