Oh heavens now I'm behind.

Maz you will have a sore bottom if I get my hands on you. Put your thread info on your RS thread. Us what knows exactly what RS is will be expecting to see that information where it should be. And it is very important information. You may not think so because your poor head is all muddled up with these facts. And waddaya mean married twice.

Off you go cut and paste and put it on the RS thread, please.

OH YG what a pity it didn't catch fire after the car crashed into it. If you are going to have a disaster you might as well go the whole hog. That would have meant firemen.

Perhaps you need to reinforce your fence with knicker elastic so that objects striking it rebound. Have you thought of ringing your local paper and making a fuss about the number of times this has happened. Nothing galvanises councils into action like a bit of publicity.

And we don't have to warn you about security of your personal effects this time. Do we?????

Oh and just as a calming measure. Walk around the house singing a few verses of "I'm dreaming of a White Christmas", that should do the trick!!

YG Report 3 Feb 2010 20:32

Thank you Aunty!!!!

I'm just texting her to say I am not pleased at not receiving her insurance details from her. Just pondering whether to threaten reporting it to the police or wondering if that is a bit harsh!

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 3 Feb 2010 20:36

No go for it YG. I would !

YG

YG Report 3 Feb 2010 20:46

Hi LG!! I've just done the text but thought I would have one last attempt at phoning her and she has answered this time!

She is not a happy bunny about paying for me to get someone in to add the additional cross member and repaint it, so it got rather unpleasant!! I told her that I would claim through her insurance if she wanted it that way. I still think I am going to finish up paying for the extra repairs once the council have repaired it.

AuntySherlock

AuntySherlock Report 3 Feb 2010 20:48

No, don't threaten with police. Quote your rules/legislation details about giving the other person the required information after an accident. Then say you will have to inform the authorities if she does not comlpy wih the law.

For Maz, I've contacted Kerri. I see you have put your info on the RS thread. Did you do that before I jumped up and down. Oh well I'll go sit quietly in the corner for a while. You do realize that those little bits of info will change how we search. Need to concentrate on her given names.

I have to go to work. As I was there 90 minutes early yesterday, all for nothing I might add, I figured I can be 90 minutes late today. Somehow I don't think they will see it in that same way.

LaGooner Report 3 Feb 2010 20:49

There must be some way around it . If she will not pay off her insurance ask the Citizens Advice if there is anything you can do.

YG

YG Report 3 Feb 2010 21:00

She is very reluctant to release her insurance details but is prepared to pay the council. The only stumbling block is the extra work. She is demanding that the council do it and I don't think they will.

She was a real weakling this morning, but my goodness, she has found the fight in her tonight!!

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 3 Feb 2010 21:10

Take it to Citizens advise to make sure you know the legallities of it all. Better safe than sorry.

YG

YG Report 3 Feb 2010 21:14

A couple of vats of pink custard should do the trick!

LG & THE ARK, UPDATE

In the year 2010, the Lord came unto LG, who was living in Britain and said:

"Once again, the earth has become wicked and over-populated and I see the end of all flesh before me. Build another Ark and save 2 of every living thing along with a few good humans.from Nut Lodge."

He gave LG blueprints, saying:
"You have 6 months to build the Ark before I will start the unending rain for 40 days and 40 nights"

Six months later, the Lord looked down and saw LG weeping in her yard - but no Ark.

"LG!," he roared, "I'm about to start the rain! Where is the Ark?"

"Forgive me, Lord," begged LG, "but things have changed." "I needed a Building Permit."

"I've been arguing with the Boat Inspector about the need for a sprinkler system."

"My neighbours claim that I've violated the neighbourhood Bye-Laws by building the Ark in my back garden and exceeding the height limitations. We had to go to the Local Planning Committee for a decision."

"Then the Local Council and the Electricity Company demanded a shed load of money for the future costs of moving power lines and other overhead obstructions, to clear the passage for the Ark's move to the sea. I told them that the sea would be coming to us, but they would hear nothing of it."

"Getting the wood was another problem. There's a ban on cutting local trees in order to save the Greater Spotted Barn Owl. I tried to convince the environmentalists that I needed the wood to save the owls - but no go!"

"When I started gathering the animals the RSPCA took me to court. They insisted that I was confining the CPs against their will. They argued the accommodations were too restrictive, and it was cruel and inhumane to put so many animals in a confined space."

"Then the Environmental Agency ruled that I couldn't build the Ark until they'd conducted an environmental impact study on your proposed flood."

"I'm still trying to resolve a complaint with the Human Rights Commission on how many minorities I'm supposed to hire for my building crew."

"Immigration are checking the visa status of most of the people who want to work."

"The Trade Unions say I can't use my sons. They insist I have to hire only Union workers with Ark-building experience."

"To make matters worse, the Inland Revenue seized all my assets, claiming I'm trying to leave the country illegally with endangered species."

"So, forgive me, Lord, but it would take at least 10 years for me to finish this Ark."

"Suddenly the skies cleared, the sun began to shine, and a rainbow stretched across the sky."

LG looked up in wonder and asked, "You mean you're not going to destroy the world?"

"No," said the Lord, "the UK Government beat me to it."

And you tried to tell us it was ready to sail!!

YG

YG Report 3 Feb 2010 21:23
