Evening all.
All smiles indeed Aunty just what I needed .
I have no snow after this mornings blizzard which turned to rain within the hour and washed away LOL. Turned out blue sky and sunshine later in day.

we have the white stuff so am not sure if naomi is going home today will discover that when i get in from work .yes we are back to work this morning after running round after three adults this week end i am tired .

Morning / evening all, Rant over LOL

Hello you lot. What is wrong with GR, and I don't mean that as a growl. When I click on my little icon it takes me to the site but everything is listed on the lefthand side without all the boxes and the ads and stuff. Just the typing.

It takes me about three goes to make the screens look like they should.

Must be cost cutting measures. They are taking away all the lovely sparkly ads and just having a plain no flicker site.

Oh go on you don't reckon. That's right spoil a girl's dream again.

How's the cub/guide/scout pack going. We really don't have much energy for virtual reality any more do we? We are all either working, busy with famil, tired on our feet. or trying to put the trees together. I have a major search I need to do and I really have been putting it off.

Also I meant to ask you Maz how your searching was going. Did your Mum remember anymore about Rowley and her second marriage. Just interested to know if she had said anything.

I think I should retire. That way I coud devote my waking hours to research instead of my sleeping time. Oh I can see my boss in a faint on the ground. Oh well I suppose I can finish another year. I really do like the money.

Well off I go again. Catching up on whose throwing custard pies at whom and then a search through Victorian (Oz type) records.

Oh I am so pleased. Just woke u and first thing I did was rush in here to see if the thread was still here. I thought GR had worked out a way to persuade people to accidently delete their threads. Everything fixed and back to normal.

What a pity I am so far away. I have the perfect bunny bedding for Maz, shredded paper. We have bags of it and actually take it down to the pet shop quite regularly. I'd catapult you some over but can you see shreded paper flying out of the catapult all the way between Oz and England.

What happens when you click the preview button. Might go to my temp thread from last night and try it out.

And I really do like the drop down boxes. Wonder if they will get rid of the ones on the side and let up have hints and tips out there. Or maybe just maybe there is now room under the Help button.

I have just had a spooky experience with my tree. Tracing a distant relation from Wiltshire I find out her husband was born just down the road from where I was born in North London, Oooooooooooo.

I'm trying to export my tree and it says that it will be e-mailed to me, but still shows status as awaiting export. I tried it last night and didn't receive any e=mail. What am I doing wrong??

Don't ask me YG. I am still thinking about exporting my tree from Ancestry to here. Can that be done ???
