I believe that we've all got a special Angel. Mine is called Raff. Short for Raphael.

Angie don't listen to 'em.

You're not alone.

My daughter insists on getting up close to the atm and saying thankyou to the lickle man inside when he hands over the notes.

Although, she is only 6.

Mmm.

Haven't read any of the thread I am afraid Sue...just your last post...which I disagree with :-)))

I stopped believing in professionals at the age of 19....when my mother died because of them ( long story ).. since then I have questioned every single one of them who have ever come into my life...and only a handful have proved to be worth their salt.....sorry...a debates worth I know :-))

It does Rose!...as long as the glasses are on, and what a great time it is whilst it lasts :-))

I thought that wisdom came with age. I now know that's not true!

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 20 Aug 2009 22:37

I think we tend to get cynical about professionals when we get older. Just reading a newspaper can cause that.

Kate Report 20 Aug 2009 12:29

I remember when I was about five, I reckoned being sixteen or so would be fantastic because it seemed so grown up. Then when I got to sixteen, all I got was mountains of GCSE homework and coursework to do and, naturally, that was when I started thinking, "Wouldn't it be great to be 5 again?"!

I also used to completely trust what doctors told me when I was smaller, but - as I've got older - I've got a lot more cynical. Half of the time, whatever's wrong with me, I feel like they think everybody who walks through the door is making their illness up and I've also come to realise that I think my GP is a bit hopeless (which is not an idea that you tend to have when you're smaller).
