Lesley, Peter/welshy himself said he was a man...but Mel has said very definitely its a girl. That makes me think, and obviously several others, that Mel knows exactly who it is, because she was so certain welshy isn't a man.

Hi TW,

I thought Welshy was a ruse to be honest.

I also thought Welshy was female but I'm probably wrong about it. I thought those inappropriate jokes/comments "he made" were just to make the person seem like a bloke. The men on here don't behave that way.

It is just a guess, and I've always guessed wrong at murder mysteries although I do enjoy them. Not sure I enjoy conversations about "him" so much, it seems to have dominated most of chat, I wonder if that is why I had a little doze this afternoon lol

Can't do what anymore? This to me says Welshy is not who he pretends to be & looks likes the writing of a woman.

I know its not Mel, as she was out yesterday when Welshy was posting.

But this poster, obviously knows who Mel is & I reckon is an ex-close friend. Maybe Mel has now realised this & doesn't want to play.

But like the rest of you I am second guessing. What we need is for Welshy to own up as to who she is.

Well I guess we'll just have to wait and see what *welshy* has to say for him/herself then Stevie.

From the tone of that post I'd say it all looks like a pre planned little game between Mel and Welshy that Welshy has now tired of.

Mels posts this morning supposedly telling Welshy off .......were to say the least, more than unconvincing imho xx

I think Welshy is going to implie that as Steve says Welshy is a female ex friend of Mels...... but Mel is gormless and has dropped her mates in it soooooooooooooo many times I have lost count thats why some are now said ex friends.....I dont think it is an ex friend of mels.....I think its a likkle closer to home...

That's possible too Muffy, it has happened before. I suppose it just comes down to whether it is a friend or an ex friend who has posted.

I suppose there may also be the strange possibility that Welshy is someone altogether new to the boards. lol

Peter/ Welshy also said he had just got out of prison after 5 years ...robbery with a "gnu" .... so he joined GR whilst in prison? The lengths some people will go to just to get time to research.....

He was looking for a fit woman ( at 51 I was just within the age range "at a push" :) oh wow lol lucky me ;) so if he is taking his daughter to ballet, I assume he may have a partner,I hope his OH knows he has been on here cruising?

on the other hand it may all be a misunderstanding.......

This is a separate question....not referring to anyone or any thread, but do you think we as a board spend too much time discussing these little games? Is it not walking right into their hands? If we ignored it all, wouldn't that have a stronger effect? (I don't mean anyone being picked on btw)
