Where does all the hair go? Why do I never seem to see hair lying about on streets etc....we seem to shed it from time to time but I never seem to see any lying around. Why this popped into my head, I have no idea.

Mine, which is long, gets stuck in the carpet in the bedroom, and I have to use rubber gloves to get it off, because the hoover is pointless at that lol

It also gets in my hairbrush, and in the plughole.

Is the hairy-fairy any relation to the tooth-fairy? If you could find out where all the baby teeth go, you might find where the hair goes - or do the birds collect the teeth too?

It wasn't such a daft question Susan.

When people lose weight. Some of it is turned into energy, in the form of carbohydrates, for the body to use. The rest is lost as by products, in the form of heat, carbon dioxide & water.

In other languages, do their words rhyme? Like - does the French word for "frog" rhyme with the French word for "dog"? If not, why not?

I've often pondered on that. (I probably need to get out more!)

Why, if hedgehogs eat slugs, and slugs eat my plants, do they both happily scoff from the same dish of cat food (along with the fox's)that I leave out for the strays???
