Could be Sally, they would have gone by boat / s , there is part of a bridge visible in the photo but otherwise nothing to identify except quite a steep hillside behind.

They obviously went prepared as two of the gentlemen have a beer barrel complete with tap resting on their shoulders lol

Could it be the Chilterns Rose.......I live in S. Herts. and the Chilterns are in the area, and we are 20 miles north of London.....?

London / middlesex...

I am just looking at what I think is a photo of a Lightermans' outing , my gt grandfather is on it, does anyone have any ideas of hills that might border the Thames...probably close to Chiswick area ....or maybe west or East of there but very close to river?
