	What is it that we see through the fencing, -Could it be railway lines? I don't know the area, but great photo. Gwyn

	Rose great photo. I thought to begin with that was railway tracks in the distance ( behind and to the left ) but OH said no it is the fence cross supports ....duh so it is ! Not a lot of help mind as that doesn't say whether canal or railbridge.

	Ed lol whiile you were going the whole route of canal...so was I ! thanks CarolB, Uzzi, Gwyn...I spent a bit of time last night on Docklands ancestors looking at photos (to no avail) I think I shall have to do a bit of travelling for this one! Down to London to the watermans hall, and to Hounslow library which I suspect might have some info.... Thanks so much to everyone for looking...will let you know when I do! xx
