Look, how can a country , who d'snt know its arse from it's elbow , how many illegals we have in this country , posibly see through a scheme like this well meaning as it may be , we are and always will be a dumping ground for the worlds undeirables,
It's all very well Jaqui Smith (and we all know about her, don't we) saying we will monitor imigration at our borders but a quick google wiil reveal all the wonderful she has let in from anti western mullahs , to violence inciting Jamaican rap singers.

Hi Igor , sorry had gone to bed by the time you posted or would have answered you :)

I think the main argument is that as all these people are already here, can't for the most part be sent back because

a) you'd have to find them first (which you can't do if they are living 'outside the system' as it were).

b) they are settled , ie have been here for 6 years, have employment and wish to pay taxes etc.....

I certainly don't think Britain should open its doors to an indefinite number of immigrants. I also think that those who do come must accept our laws and responsibilities, and respect our culture and integrate into it (without being forced to loose their own 'roots' ). Freedom of speech I will defend to the hilt, but not to be used by anyone to incite racial tension...eg fundamental Islamists who preach hatred....they should be deported immediately (though there is a case for saying it is better to have them here where they can be monitored rather than elsewhere where they would have more influence?).

Hi Mac, being in business and trying to get payment from people is a nightmare... from those I know who are in business, the same applies whoever the debtor. But (and I know this is off topic somewhat) is this not down to a general disinclination to 'pay up' for what you receive? eg high tax payers who employ accountants to keep every penny they can: politicians who claim for household sundries on their expenses whilst earning substantial salaries: bank officials who take bonuses for running a failing ship...etc etc...symptomatic of the 'ME' generation? rather than race.....or nationality as such?
